The Wehrs Machine Coil Over Kits are designed to improve suspension consistency and spring performance by properly capturing and aligning the coil spring during suspension travel. Unlike traditional coilover setups, these kits capture the spring by the outside diameter, helping keep the spring linear throughout its entire range of motion for more predictable handling and suspension response.
The 5" coilover kit features a lightweight aluminum and durable plastic design, reducing overall suspension weight while maintaining the strength needed for demanding racing conditions. The system also allows the option to run a 5" Torrington bearing, helping minimize friction and spring bind for smoother suspension movement and improved adjustability.
To maintain precise ride height and preload settings, the kit includes a jam nut locking system that prevents the adjuster nut from spinning or moving during racing. By keeping the spring properly aligned on the outside diameter, these coilover kits help improve suspension efficiency and maintain consistent spring performance lap after lap.
